Stasha Chimbur is an artist of the accessory. She creates hats and headgear, bags and receptacles, parasols, scarves, printed fabrics, wearable objects as well as objects and assemblage for interiors using a wide variety of materials and techniques. She has exhibited her work at over 100 exhibitions, performances and fashion shows in museums, galleries and cultural centres…

After completing the Zagreb School of Applied Arts, Department of Interior Architecture, Stasha graduated from the Faculty of Textile Technology, Clothes and Textile Design. In Zagreb she has passed the Hat Master Craftsman Examination, but also learned to weld at the Institute of Welding. Stasha has acquired her skills in the Art of Making Stained Glass and has attended the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Her work has been commissioned by museums, galleries and institutions including Gemeente Museum – The Hague, North Sea Gallery – Scheveningen, Gallery Coumans – Utrecht, Business Art Service – Raamsdonksveer, Foundation of De Verenigde Spaar Bank / Fortis bank – The Netherlands; The Arts and Crafts Museum – Zagreb, Croatian National Theatre – Zagreb – Croatia as well as many private collectors. She is a member of the Croatian Artists Association, the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts and the Croatian Designer Society. In the Netherlands she is a member of both the Haagse Kunstring and the Hat Platform.
